What makes the village of Manciano unique is certainly the panorama that can be admired from the Rocca Aldobrandesca.

Due to its panoramic position, the village has earned the nickname “Spy of the Maremma”, not only the keep, but every panoramic terrace in the town offers a glimpse of a detail of the Maremma.

Going up on the keep, in fact, you can admire the Tuscan Maremma in all its wonder, with a panorama that ranges from the innermost hills to the Tyrrhenian coast, in a fairytale setting.

La Torretta, the highest point of the keep, is the perfect place to admire the whole territory of the Maremma, and, especially on clear days, to be entranced by the variety of the territory, ranging from the sea, where with a little luck you can see the ‘Isola del Giglio, Montecristo and Corsica, up to the innermost hills, passing through the colorful cultivated fields, different in every season of the year.
