The museum is entirely dedicated to archaeological research methods in the Maremma area, and to the exhibition of finds from the archaeological areas of the Fiora river valley.
The exhibits are traced back to a period between the Paleolithic and the final Bronze Age, they come mainly from the areas of Vacasio, Poggio Lucio, Poderi del Bufalo, Vulci, Montauto, Poggio Formica, just to name the most important.
The museum also organizes lectures and guided tours.
